The Swan Districts Football Club was formed in 1933 and joined the Western Australian National Football League (WANFL) in 1934.
The Swan Districts club song is to the tune of the 1926 song Baby Face written by Harry Akst and Benny Davis.

Bassendean Oval, Bassendean
Location
Bassendean is a north-eastern suburb of Perth, located 12 km from Perth’s CBD. In 1832, the Henty brothers sold their farm to the Colonial Secretary, Peter Broun, who renamed the homestead Bassendean. Over the years the Bassendean property became incorporated into the suburb of West Guildford and in 1922, West Guildford was renamed Bassendean.
