Location
Oatlands is a historic town on the shores of Lake Dulverton in central Tasmania, located 84 km north of Hobart and 115 km south of Launceston. It was named by Governor Macquarie in 1821 after the English town in Surrey. Oatlands is a convenient stop for travellers journeying between the island’s two largest cities.
