The competition was formed in 1952 and was renamed the Oatlands District Football Association (ODFA) in 1955.
Former clubs include Campbell Town Robins, Colebrook Saints, Kempton Magpies, Parattah Robins, Ross Demons, Swansea Swans, Tasman Peninsula Crows, Tunbridge Redlegs and Tunnack Eagles.
