About
Southerners Sporting Club is the local winter sporting club in Hopetoun which coordinates Football, Netball and Hockey for the community from May through to August.

We are happy to currently offer these sports to Juniors (from Kindergarten age) all the way up to Senior Level. Juniors are able to play all 3 sports, regardless of gender.

Our club is part of the Ravensthorpe and Districts Winter Sports Association. This includes the townships of Hopetoun, Ravensthorpe (Tigers) and Lake King (Lakes/Vikings). All matches are played on Saturdays.

Southerners also organise numerous fundraising events throughout the year including the annual Southerners Fishing Competition, held on the long weekend in March, as well as different themed social events.

A general meeting is held every month during the season and anyone is welcome to attend. If you have any issues, or are interested in having your say, please come to a meeting. You can keep up to date with our meeting dates, as well as other notices and information, by following our Facebook page, link below.
