Established in 1972, the Dampier Sharks Football Club is at the heart of the local Dampier community, bringing people together through a shared love of Aussie Rules Football. Our club is built on a proud tradition of teamwork, passion, and resilience, making us a powerhouse in the North Pilbara Football League.
We field competitive teams in League, Womens and Reserves, with a strong focus on developing talent, fostering sportsmanship, and creating a supportive environment for players of all skill levels. Location
Dampier is a major industrial port in the Pilbara region in the northwest of WA, 1,562 km north of Perth. It is located near the city of Karratha and Port Walcott. Dampier Port is part of the Dampier Archipelago and is primarily a port for the export of iron ore from Rio Tinto mines, LNG and salt. The town derives its name from the English navigator William Dampier (1651-1715).
