The Dowerin-Wyalkatchem Tigers compete in the Mortlock Football League.
The Tigers were established in 2013 via the merger of the Dowerin Football Club (Tigers) and the Wyalkatchem Football Club (Bulldogs). They proved immediately successful, claiming the 2013 premiership by defeating Calingiri in the grand final.

Dowerin is a town located 156 km northeast of Perth in the central Wheatbelt region of WA. The name is derived from nearby Lake Dowerin, first recorded on maps around 1879. Dowerin is home to the Dowerin GWN Field Days, a two day annual event in August showcasing agricultural and associated equipment, which attracts over 15,000 local and national visitors each day.
