Cervantes is a town in WA, located 198 km northwest of Perth, in the Shire of Dandaragan. The town was named after a ship that was wrecked nearby. The ship was named after Miguel de Cervantes (1547-1616), author of Don Quixote. The principal industry in the town is fishing. Most of the streets are named after cities, regions and rivers in Spain.
