Location
Northam is a town in the Wheatbelt region of WA, located 97 km north east of Perth, situated at the confluence of the Avon and Mortlock Rivers. It is the largest town and regional centre in the Avon Valley region of the Central Wheatbelt. It was named by Governor Stirling, probably after a village of the same name in Devon, England.
