The Werribee Districts Tigers compete in the Western Football Netball League.
Formed in 1951 as Werribee Junior Football Club, before adding senior teams in 1995 and rebranding to Werribee Amateur & Junior Football Club, the club rebranded again to its current name: Werribee Districts Football Club in 2014.
The club continues to grow year-on-year and now fields multiple teams across Senior Men, Junior Boys and Junior Girls football and have recently established a team in the Senior Women’s Netball Competition. We cater for players of all ages (from 7 and above), both male and female of all levels of experience.
We are a strong family-orientated club based in the heart of Werribee at Soliders Reserve, our physical and spiritual home since our formation.

Location
Werribee is a suburb of Melbourne, located 32 km southwest of Melbourne’s CBD. Werribee is situated on the Werribee River, approximately halfway between Melbourne and Geelong, on the Princes Highway. It was established as an agricultural settlement in the 1850s, originally named Wyndham and was renamed Werribee (derived from the aboriginal name meaning “backbone” or “spine”) in 1904.
