About
Established in 1886 we are one of Australia’s oldest sporting clubs. Our Club over its long history has played a significant role in the Williamstown community, bringing people together in its sporting endeavours for over 130 years from our home base at the Fearon Reserve.

Today we represent Williamstown in the VAFA. The Club joined the VAFA in 1983 and now fields five teams (Colts, Under 19, Seniors, Reserves and Club XVIII).

We have a strengthening relationship with the Williamstown Junior Football Club with our junior teams providing a stepping stone for Williamstow’’s footballers to continue playing in the gold and blue colours of Williamstown.

Since 1886 our Club has enjoyed senior success winning multiple premierships.

We are also a proud member of Football Williamstown, an organisation that includes every Australian Football club, team and group in the suburb of Williamstown. Football Williamstown provides the opportunity for everyone to be involved in football on and off the ground for their entire lifetime, ‘from the cradle to the grave’.

We extend a warm welcome to new players, supporters, sponsors and volunteers.

Location
Williamstown is a suburb of Melbourne, located 9 km southwest of Melbourne’s CBD. It is approximately 15 minutes by car from Melbourne via the West Gate Freeway or a 30-minute train journey from Flinders Street Station. When Governor Richard Bourke and Captain William Lonsdale visited the emergent settlement at Port Phillip in 1837, they both felt the main site of settlement at Point Gellibrand would emerge at the estuary and they renamed it William’s Town after King William IV, then the English monarch.
