About
Formed in 2004 with the amalgamation of two football clubs, Parkdale Football Club and the Mentone Amateur Football Club (formally St Patricks Mentone Football Club). The new look club with new digs (Gerry Green Reserve), new name and jumper design commenced its first season in the VAFA.
In the very early years the club had very mixed results but it wasn’t long before the club tasted the ultimate success, winning back to back premierships in 2011 (Section D1) and 2012 (Premier C).
Taking into account the various club mergers, over the entire journey the club has won 11 senior premierships dating back to 1936. Along the way the club has racked up the odd reserves, thirds and junior premiership as well.
