Parkdale Vultures Football Netball Club is a club on the rise in the Victorian Amateur Football Association, AFL VIC Metro Masters, Southern Football Netball League and Springvale & District Netball Association competitions.
Founded in 2004 after an amalgamation between two successful local clubs (Mentone Amateur Football Club and Parkdale Football Club), the Vultures today are a progressive and professional organisation well on its way to becoming the largest club in the City of Kingston.
The Club maintains a very close relationship with the Mordialloc-Braeside Junior Football Club, which remains a major source of new recruits to the Vultures.
Taking into account the amalgamation and the introduction of netball to the Vultures, the Club has amassed 11 Senior Football premierships dating back to 1936. Along the way, the club is proud to have also achieved a significant number of Reserves, Thirds, Under 19’s Football and Senior and Junior Netball Premierships.
The Vultures have provided a platform for emerging young talented players to progress to the AFL ranks. Our alumni stretch back to the 1970s with Rex Hunt and more recently, the 2019 GWS Best & Fairest winner, Tim Taranto.

Location
Parkdale is a suburb of Melbourne, located 23 km southeast of Melbourne’s CBD. Parkdale was founded in 1920, and named after early homesteader William Parker when engineers decided to build a railway station alongside a cluster of five bayside shops.
