About
Established in 1851, Scotch College is an independent Presbyterian day and boarding school for boys, located in Hawthorn, an inner-eastern suburb of Melbourne. It is one of the wealthiest schools in Australia and is a founding member of the Associated Public Schools of Victoria (APS).

The first recorded match of Australian Rules Football took place between Scotch College and Melbourne Grammar in 1858.

Alumni of Scotch College are known as Old Boys or Old Collegians, and automatically become members of the School’s alumni association, the Old Scotch Collegians Association (OSCA). Studies over the years have found that Scotch had more alumni mentioned in Who’s Who in Australia (a listing of notable Australians) than any other school.

Location
Camberwell is a suburb of Melbourne, located 10 km east of Melbourne’s CBD. Its local government area is the City of Boroondara. Camberwell received its name as a result of an early settler being reminded of the way three roads intersected in the south London district of Camberwell. This intersection is now known as Camberwell Junction. The development that followed was a product of the expansion of Melbourne’s suburban rail network in the 1880s.
