Fidelis Usque Ad Mortem
On 24 April in 1964, the Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Football Club took to the field for the first time in the VAFA.
The club’s early years were challenging, but by 1968 OIGFC had achieved its first major success, winning the E Grade premiership.
Over the decades, the club grew stronger, expanding its teams and achieving further premierships in various grades.
The Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Football Club was founded to unite alumni of Ivanhoe Grammar School with a passion for Australian Rules Football. Our mission is to provide a supportive environment where players, coaches, and supporters can thrive, while promoting values of respect, teamwork, and excellence both on and off the field.
Today, OIGFC remains a proud community of players, supporters, and alumni, with a rich history of football excellence and a commitment to fostering sportsmanship and camaraderie.
