Based at Brunswick’s famous AG Gillon Oval and playing in the VAFA, Brunswick NOB’s (men) and Brunswick Renegades (women) form a vibrant and growing community amateur football club, with more than 160 registered players.
The Brunswick Football Club is closely aligned to the Brunswick Junior Football Club, which plays in the Yarra Junior Football League and feeds junior talent to the senior teams.
History
The original Brunswick Football Club played in the Victorian Football Association from 1897 to 1991, when it disbanded.
North Old Boys Amateur Football Club, or NOBs as it is known, took over the tenancy of Gillon Oval mid-way through the 1991 season and has been there ever since, playing in the VAFA.
At the Club’s AGM in 2017 – by which time it had successfully started the Brunswick Junior Football Club (BJFC) and the Brunswick Renegades Women’s Football Club – NOBs changed its name to Brunswick Football Club Incorporated.

Brunswick West is a suburb of Melbourne, located 6 km north of Melbourne’s CBD. Brunswick takes its name from Queen Caroline (née Princess Caroline, Duchess of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel), the wife of George IV.
