Founded in 2013, the Casterton-Sandford Football Club competes in the Limestone Coast Football Netball League.
The club was formed from a merger of the Casterton and Sandford football clubs, amalgamating both clubs’ colours while retaining Casterton’s ‘Cats’ nickname, hooped guernsey, and Island Park home ground.

Location
Casterton is a town in Victoria, located on the Glenelg Highway, 42 km east of the South Australian border. The Glenelg River passes through the town. Casterton is named after the village of Casterton in south-east Cumbria in England. Casterton lays claim to be the birthplace of the kelpie.
