The Gordon township is nestled in the hills at the foot of Mount Edgerton on the Western Freeway between Melbourne and Ballarat.
The Gordon Football & Netball Club is affiliated with the Central Highlands Football and Netball Leagues. The club fields football sides in the Senior, Reserves, Under 18, Under 15 & Under 12 grades as well as running a popular Auskick program for 6 to 9 year olds.
The colour gold represents our gold mining history here in these parts, and green represents the beautiful green rolling grassy hills of Gordon.
