The Carngham Linton Football Netball Club aims to play a major role in the local community by developing football and netball at all levels within the Carngham Linton district and the western side of Ballarat.
We aim to provide for continual personal development in a positive and inclusive environment for players and the community, with a family-orientated culture that promotes the enjoyment of local football and netball and enables the club to lay the foundation for sustained success at both junior and senior levels.
History
After many years of talking, an agreement was reached to merge the two clubs in 1969. Carngham Linton Football Club first took the field in 1969 in the Western Plains Football League. Over the next 30 years, the club won 12 premierships, including four in a row from 1982 to 1985. In 2011 the league stopped operating, so the club transferred to the Central Highlands Football League.

Location
Linton is a town in Victoria, on the Glenelg Highway, located 33 km southwest of Ballarat and 149 km west of Melbourne. Linton was then first settled by Europeans about 1840 and was named after a pioneer family in the area.
