Founded in 1932, the Golden Square Football Netball Club is based in the Bendigo suburb of Golden Square, Victoria. Our Men’s football teams and netball teams play in the Bendigo Football Netball League with our Women’s football team playing in the Central Victorian Football League.
The senior football squad has participated in the league since 1935 with netball being introduced in 1991. Furlife Oval is our home ground.

Wade Street Recreation Reserve, Golden Square
Location
Golden Square is a suburb of Bendigo in Victoria, located 3 km southwest of the Bendigo CBD. Gold was discovered in the bed of the Bendigo Creek in 1851, about 200 metres from where the Golden Square Hotel now stands, sparking the gold rush that established the city of Bendigo.
