North Ballarat Football Club was formed in 1882 and has been actively running ever since making us one of the oldest continuously running Football Clubs in Australia.
We have many opportunities for you to be involved with us including Auskick, Junior & Senior Football and Netball, Social Events and also to become a member of our fantastic Sports Club.
We have some of the best facilities in regional sports within Australia including 2 full size ovals, 2 netball courts, gym and Sports Club – not to mention we are located within Ballarat’s premier sports precinct – Mars Stadium on Creswick Road.

Location
Wendouree is a large suburb in Ballarat, located 5 km northwest of the CBD. It is named after nearby Lake Wendouree. The name Wendouree comes from a local Aboriginal word wendaaree which means ‘go away’: a story is told that when settler William Cross Yuille asked a local indigenous woman what the name of the swamp was, that was her reply.
