Established in 1994, the Queenstown Crows Football Club competes in the Darwin Football Association (DFA) in Tasmania.
The club was formed via a merger of the Queenstown Blues Football Club and the Lyell-Gormanston Football Club.
The Crows are probably best known for their grass free, gravel covered home ground.

Location
Queenstown is a historic mining town in the West Coast region of Tasmania, located 154 km from Burnie and 248 km from Hobart. Queenstown is well known for its unique football oval, which utilises gravel instead of grass. The Queenstown Oval was laid with gravel due to pollution from local mining and heavy rain making it difficult to grow grass. The oval was inducted into the Tasmanian Football Hall of Fame in 2007.
