Location
Hahndorf is a small town in the Adelaide Hills region of South Australia, located 28 km from Adelaide. The town was settled by Lutheran migrants – many of the settlers arrived aboard the ship Zebra on 28 December 1838. The town is named after Dirk Meinerts Hahn, the captain of Zebra. It is Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement.
