Formed in 1909, the Adelaide Plains Football League (APFL) is based in the Adelaide Plains region immediately north of Adelaide.
Over 100 years later and the APFL is still thriving, having outlasted many nearby associations. The League currently has 8 teams participating – Angle Vale, Balaklava, Hamley Bridge, Hummocks Watchman Eagles, Mallala, Two Wells, United and Virginia.
The APFL is also affiliated with the Adelaide Plains Netball Association and work together to bring the community together through sport.
