Established in 1977, the Mackay City Hawks compete in the AFL Mackay competition in Queensland.
Over four decades, the Hawks have completely transformed their nest into a fortress and have always prided themselves on providing the best facilities for football in Mackay.
The club is one of the region’s oldest and proudest, based at the Harrup Park Country Club in South Mackay.
It took a few years for the Hawks to spread their wings in the competition, but the seniors won their first flag in 1982 and have since claimed multiple premierships to become one of the competition’s most successful.
The brown and gold now welcome players of all ages into their Nest, starting at Under 8’s and going all the way up to senior grade.
