Location
Kingaroy is a rural town in Queensland, located 218 km north west of Brisbane and 141 km south west of Gympie. Kingaroy is the seat of the South Burrnett Region. It is known as the “Peanut Capital of Australia” because Australia’s largest peanut processing plant is located in the town and its peanut silo dominates the skyline.
