Location
Hillston is a township in western New South Wales, on the banks of the Lachlan River, located 683 km west of Sydney and 110 km north of Griffith. The town is named after its founding publican, William Ward Hill. Agriculture is the main industry, mostly oriented towards livestock, grain, cotton, citrus and vegetables.
