Established in 1995, the Cobar Blues Football Club competes in the Northern Riverina Football Netball League (NRFNL) in New South Wales.

Cobar is a town in Outback New South Wales, located 712 km by road northwest of Sydney and 160 km south of Bourke. The economy is based mainly upon base metals and gold mining. The town is at the crossroads of the Kidman Way and Barrier Highway and retains much of its 19th-century architecture.
