Established in 1898, the Howlong Spiders Football Club competes in the Hume Football Netball League (HFNL) in New South Wales.

Location
Howlong is a town situated on the Murray River in New South Wales, located 28 km west of Albury. There is a bridge across the Murray into Victoria. The name of the town is derived from an indigenous place name meaning “beginning of the plains”.
