Founded in 1895, the Culcairn Lions Football Netball Club is proud to be one of the region’s oldest community sports clubs, representing the town of Culcairn in the Hume Football Netball League. Over the decades, we have built a strong tradition of team spirit and community pride.
From early achievements in local associations such as the Culcairn & District Football Association (premiers in 1910 and 1921) and the Albury & District Football League (premiers in the 1950s), through to our move into the Hume League in 1992, the Lions have continued to grow and adapt while staying true to our core values. Since joining the HFNL, we have celebrated premiership wins in 1993 and 2007.
Our club is a cornerstone of community life, built on passion, teamwork, and respect. We bring together players, families, volunteers, and supporters of all ages. As a family-focused club, we are committed to promoting wellbeing, offering inclusive off-field activities, and ensuring every member feels connected, supported, and included.
On the football oval, the netball courts, and throughout the community, the Lions stand for unity and pride.

Culcairn is a town in the south-east Murray region of New South Wales, located on the Olympic Highway between Albury and Wagga Wagga. The town is an important supply centre for nearby towns and villages, including Morven, Gerogery, Henty, Walla Walla and Pleasant Hills.
