The Brock-Burrum Football and Netball Club came about after the merger between the Brocklesby and Burrumbuttock Clubs at the at the start of the 2006 season. The merger occurred when both clubs could see the difficulties in surviving in the league as single entities, being two smaller clubs competing against teams with much larger population bases.
As individual clubs with long and proud traditions – and who were once fierce rivals – the merger took some time to settle, yet has since flourished and blossomed into the club it is today.
The club still plays and maintains home grounds at both Brocklesby and Burrumbuttock.
