The Nowra Albatross Vikings were formed in 2015 via a merger of the Nowra Blues and the Albatross Demons.
The club is currently in recess.

Nowra is a city in the South Coast region of New South Wales, located 160 km south of Sydney. The naval air station HMAS Albatross is located about 10 km southwest of Nowra. The name Nowra is an indigenous word for the black cockatoo.
