Eden is a coastal town in the South Coast region of New South Wales. The town is 478 km south of Sydney and is the most southerly town in New South Wales. The town’s main industries include fishing, forestry and tourism. Eden was named after George Eden (1784-1849), 1st Earl of Auckland, the British Secretary for the Colonies.
