Coffs Harbour Breakers AFC was built from the league-oriented merger of the North Coffs Kangaroos and the Coffs Swans, combining rich histories to create something stronger together. The Breakers were founded with a clear vision — to bring inclusivity and passion to our sport while building a family-orientated club that welcomes everyone.
We’re passionate about the future of footy and committed to providing pathways for players of all ages and abilities. As a volunteer-run club, our strength comes from the dedication of our members, families and supporters who give their time and energy both on and off the field.
Our connection to the community runs deep. Whether it’s hosting family events, lending a hand at the local Book Fair, or jumping in with sandbags during floods, the Breakers proudly stand side-by-side with our community in good times and tough ones.

Coffs Harbour (locally nicknamed Coffs) is a coastal city on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, located 540 km north of Sydney and 390 km south of Brisbane. It is one of the largest urban centres on the North Coast. Coffs Harbour owes its name to John Korff, a ship builder and ship owner, who named the area Korff’s Harbour after he was forced to take shelter from a storm there in 1847.
