Killarney Vale Australian Football Club was formed in 1978 and entered into the existing Central Coast Australian Football League.
For its entire history the Bombers have been based at Adelaide St Oval.
The Bombers won their first Senior premiership in 1979 in Reserve Grade, with the club winning its maiden First Grade premiership in 1981.
In 2016 the club fielded its first Women’s team which has now expanded to two teams.
Killarney Vale AFC boasts one of the largest junior bases in the Hunter/Central Coast with over 300 registered players from Auskick through to Under 17’s in both Boys and Girls competitions.
