Location
The birthplace of Banjo Paterson, Orange is a city in the Central Tablelands region of New South Wales, located 254 km west of Sydney. The city is named after the Prince of Orange of the Netherlands (Willem II, 1792-1849). Orange is a well-known fruit growing district, however oranges are not grown in the area, as its climate is too cool.
