About
The Woden Blues Australian Rules Football Club was formed in 1996 by a group of Marist College Old boys.

Based at Mawson Oval (and often training in the dark) the club was involved in the Marist Juniors and Auskick. This relationship lead to the early changing of team songs to the now famous “We are the Woden Blues” song written by 1st year player Ed Smith, after complaints about the nature of the original song.

We are the local Canberra AFL Club that puts the fun back into footy, since 1996!
