About
The Laverton Magpies Football Club has always played a huge part in the local community. We compete in the Western Football Netball League competition and always put in our all to be competitive and a successful club.

We welcome any new member, player, sponsor or spectator to come down and be a part of what is a true community based ‘grass roots’ football club!

History
In 1924 the original Laverton Football Club was formed and participated for many years in the Werribee District and the Western Suburbs Football Leagues.

In 1988 the club joined the Footscray District Football League (now the WFNL) where they currently participate. In 2000 the club changed its name to the Western Magpies Football Club. In 2009 the club changed the name back to the Laverton Magpies Football Club.
