About
Founded in 1979, the Glen Orden Sports Club is located within 35 hectares of open spaces at the Heathdale estate. Our catchments large and diverse covering the principal areas of Werribee and Hoppers Crossing and including the substantial growth corridors of Tarneit, Point Cook, Truganina and Wyndhamvale.

Clubs such as ours play an important role in contributing to a more socially sustainable community. During the year our club is a hype of activity. In addition to the sport and recreation aspects, our club is also available for use by community groups and individuals.

Location
Werribee is a suburb of Melbourne, located 32 km southwest of Melbourne’s CBD. Werribee is situated on the Werribee River, approximately halfway between Melbourne and Geelong, on the Princes Highway. It was established as an agricultural settlement in the 1850s, originally named Wyndham and was renamed Werribee (derived from the aboriginal name meaning “backbone” or “spine”) in 1904.
