The Hawthorn Amateur Football Club competes in the VAFA.
The club began life in the South East Suburban Football League in 1983 and has been a member of the VAFA since 1995.
It won a flag in F Section in its fourth season, downing Monash Gryphons in the grand final by 21 points, 16.7 (103) to 12.10 (82).
