West Coast Cowan Tigers

West Coast Cowan Tigers AFL club

West Coast Amateur Football Club commenced its involvement with the WAAFL in 1984, with players having previously represented Floreat Park AFC (1960), Marist Old Boys AFC (1970) and the City Beach “All Stars” (1975). In 2001, the club merged with Cowan University, forming West Coast Cowan AFC, and going on to win the coveted WAAFL Champion Club award later that year.

Highlights in West Coast’s short but decorated history include 3 consecutive Colts flags in the club’s first three years; winning the A Grade “League” premiership in 1994; and back-to-back “League” flags in 2006 and 2007, taking the club’s premiership tally to an impressive twenty.

With recently upgraded facilities, a young list brimming with excellent footballers, outstanding coaches and a strong management committee, we look forward to continued on-field and off-field success.
