Bayswater Blues AFL logoAbout
The Bayswater Blues are an amatuer senior club based out of Hillcrest Oval, Bayswater, 10 minutes out of the CBD. Our club was formed by the returned servicemen in 1946 meaning it is one of Perth’s oldest metro clubs.

The history of our club is highlighted by the fact that our founder, C.J Jamieson, is the name behind the Best and Fairest Award for A Grade at the Amateur Football awards night each year.

We are a progressive, forward thinking club with big plans on the horizon.

Location
Bayswater is a northeastern suburb of Perth, on the northern side of the Swan River, located 6 km north of Perth’s CBD. The initial European settlement of WA began in 1829, following the second landing of James Stirling in June of that year. Development was initially sparse along the route of Guildford Road, and Bayswater remained predominately undeveloped until the 1880s. Suburban development began in earnest following the opening of the Fremantle to Guildford railway line in 1881.
