The Chidlow Cougars compete in the Hills Football Association.

In 2014 the Cougars won the premiership thanks to a 12.9 (81) to 11.11 (77) grand final defeat of Gidegannup. They went on to confront Gidgegannup in the next two grand finals only to suffer reversals on both occasions. Then in 2017 the Cougars obtained their second flag when they overcame pre-match favourites Mundaring on grand final day by 38 points, 14.10 (94) to 8.8 (56).

Chidlow is a small community in the Shire of Mundaring, located approximately 45 km east of Perth. It is named after William Chidlow, a pioneer of the Northam district, who originally established the Northam road.
