St Virgils Saints AFL logoOriginally known as Old Virgilians, the club was formed in 1927, and first took part in organised competition the following year. Between 1928 and 1931 the club competed in the West Hobart Football Association. It then became a founder member of the Public School Old Boys Football Association in 1932. The club now competes in the Old Scholars Football Association.

We are a very proud Club with a great history who pride ourselves on the quality of people we have representing our Football Club.

Location
New Town is a suburb of Hobart, located 4 km north of the CBD. One of the city’s oldest suburbs, it is now an inner city residential suburb. Many of its streets are lined with Federation style cottages.
