Hermit Park Tigers AFL logoAbout
Established in 1955, the Hermit Park Football Club is Townsville’s oldest Australian Rules football club and the only one to have kept its name the same since the inception of TAFL, now AFL Townsville.

The club actively promotes inclusiveness and is proud of its ‘Family Club’ tag. As such, the club caters for all age groups from under 6s through to senior grades. The club welcomes new players, coaches and volunteers every year throughout the various age groups.

The club has all the facilities any new player would expect, including its own ground, full ground lighting for training, a modern and well fitted out club house and bar, good change-room facilities and most importantly a fantastic and energetic group of volunteers that sees the club function very professionally.
